example2 General Internal Medicine is happy to offer nutrition counseling for individuals at the Point West office. Carol Spicher is a Registered Dietitian and Certified Diabetes Educator who counsels clients on making healthier food and exercise choices.

Carol Spicher RD, CDE, wears an insulin pump to control her Type 1 Diabetes. She is very enthusiastic about teaching those with Type 1 or Type 2 Diabetes. She will communicate with your primary care provider as a member of your health care team.

She also offer Medical Nutrition Therapy to those with high cholesterol, high blood pressure, weight management, meal planning, and exercise as tools to keep you healthy.

Women's Type I Diabetes Support Group

Her office hours are:

Thursday8:00am - 3:00pm
Meets the first Wednesday night of every other month (January, March, May September, and November), in the third floor conference room at the Health Campus (Roherstown Road and Harrisburg Pike) 7:00 - 8:30 PM.
